This is a testimony of one of the rebels who came forward for the altar call during the Congo outreach in September 2024.

"I want to glorify my God.  I want to praise God.  I have not entered a church in a long time.  Yesterday my leader called me and told me there was an outreach here.  So out of respect I came.  When I came I found everything was good.  Yesterday you preached.  Yesterday you asked if we wanted to testify, but we failed to speak up. Yesterday when you preached you touched my heart.  My heart told me to come back.  So my testimony is this today, when you were teaching about idols, you said don’t trust idols. Many of us were touched.  Many are keeping quiet but I know they are listening to what I am saying.  We are Wazalendo’s,  We always fight.  When we are fighting, there is ointment we apply to our body.   There are people who put this ointment on their body.  Those who want to apply this ointment to your body, please put God ahead instead of applying something for protection.  Put God before everything.  From today on I will not apply anything to my body.  I will put God ahead of me."
