Congo Police Testimony 2024
During our trip to Congo in September 2024, we held a seminar for local pastors. On the final day of the seminar, after we finished, we headed back to the compound where we were staying. After dinner, I went outside, and one of the four police officers hired for our security called me over, asking if I would pray for him. I agreed, and I walked over to pray for each of them one by one.
When I got to the last officer, I asked what he wanted prayer for. He shared that while he was on security duty during the seminar that day, he had been listening to what I was saying. At one point, he felt something suddenly hit him, and he noticed that his desire to smoke had disappeared. He asked me to pray that the craving would not return.
I prayed for him, and then he took his pack of cigarettes and threw them down on the ground.
I asked him, "Have you given your life to Jesus?" He replied, "No, but I want to."
So, I led him in a prayer to give his life to Jesus!
